The commands we focus on: Sit - Stay, Down - Stay, Heel, Walking, Come & Sit in Front, Go to Bed, Off, Leave It, Drop It. After three weeks the owner comes to my house to learn the method.

95% of the dogs that leave my house are fully trained. The outcome is dependent on the dog and the breeder or history of the dog. I take pride in a fully trained dog leaving my house after three weeks. Once the dog leaves, it is up to the owner to keep up with the training to ensure the dog continues. It is necessary for the owner to learn the technique and practice with the dog so that owner and dog are comfortable and understand what is expected from training.  To help with success, after the dog goes home I am always available to help the owner as I really want the dog to succeed! If the owner stops working with the dog or doesn’t follow the balanced approach the dog will be fully trained in front of me but will not listen to the owner. This will not happen if the owner is consistent about training.

Dogs are always being trained based on what is allowed. What is expected from a dog teaches him what is ok and what he can get away with. There is a balanced approach to teach a dog what is allowed, expected and wanted so that the dog listens and remains playful, and engaged.

My training protocol comes from a balanced approach of positives and negatives. I offer a three week in-house bootcamp. Your pup (4 months or older) is treated like family as she hangs out with my family and dogs. We tier the training. Each tier I expect more from the dog. The first week I introduce the commands and teach the process of going into the command and breaking out of it. The second week, the commands are known and the length of time for each command stretches, as well as light distractions are added. The last week, we maximize the distractions and peak on our time frames. If the owner allows, during this time I bring the dog to a trail and a store to do the commands outside the house.
